Michael has a broad and accomplished background as the chief executive of early-stage and established companies. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting from Illinois State University. Following his degree, he became a Certified Public Accountant. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and during his tenure, he built a foundation for his future career by gaining practical experience in finance, accounting, and strategic planning. He was promoted quickly and recognized for dedication to customer service.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning various industries, prior to joining Foundationworks, Inc. Michael held senior executive positions with Suburban Home, and Oakwood Homes. He has planned and led start-up operations and facilitated corporate mergers and restructures. He has gained experience overseeing operations spanning all regions of the United States. Adept at business development, finance, and contract negotiation, Michael has enabled his employers to enter new markets, form valuable alliances, and launch profitable new products. He has implemented strategies to achieve a clear competitive advantage, leading to the expansion of provider networks, significant growth in group and individual clients, and increased profitability.

Started career in consumer finance in 1977 with SunAmerica Finance, which later became Chemical Financial Services (the sixth largest bank in the world at that time). Andy has also served as Vice President of Oakwood Acceptance Corporation, Executive Vice President of HomePride Finance (lending subsidiary of Champion Homes) and most recently Chief Operating Officer and then Director of Strategic Developments for CU Factory Built Lending until July 2006.
